All organizations have Corporate Directories implemented as a central piece of their IT infrastructure. These Directories contain vast amounts of valuable and up-to-date information, but until now only IT technologists had access to it, mostly because the available tools were extremely technical.

cDir
Introduction

 |
cDir is a web application that provides users with easy access to this vault of corporate knowledge, in a controlled and secure way.
Users can easily perform queries such as "list all engineers in the Montréal office", and then click on a name to get information such as address, phones, photograph, manager, assistant, location map, equipment assigned, etc. All in real-time from their mobile device!
But cDir goes beyond the basic function of finding information about people. It just as easily finds and displays information about any entities defined in your directories, such as groups, servers, PCs, departments, assets, and much more!
cDir works with any LDAP-compliant corporate directory, including Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory, and it can be used from any browser-enabled Mobile Device, including RIM BlackBerry®, Apple iPhone, Windows Mobile smartphones, Laptops and Netbook PCs. cDir can also be deployed for use within any web portal, such as Microsoft's Sharepoint.
